When a part or assembly file is dropped into an active assembly window,
the system displays the Confirm Retrieval dialog box as shown in the next figure.
Choose Assemble to assemble the model into the assembly.
Choose Retrieve to open the model into a separate window.
A part or assembly model can also be dropped into an active interchange assembly.
When a part or assembly model is dropped into an active drawing, the system displays
the Confirm Retrieval dialog box as shown in the next figure. Choose Add View
to add the model to the drawing and enter the #Views menu. Choose Retrieve
to open the model into a separate window.
An IGES or neutral format file can be dropped into an active part. The system will display
the Confirm Retrieval dialog box as shown in the next figure. Choose Append
to add the geometry to the active part. Choose Create to add the geometry
to a new model.
When an IGES or neutral format file is dropped into an empty window, the system displays the
Import New Model dialog box as shown in the next figure. Choose the desired new model type
and then select OK.
